Grade 2 The Cove to Rocky Crossing
A relatively easy 2 hour paddle covering 6kms.
An excellent half day section for beginners.

Grade 2 Bindera to The Cove
Degree of difficulty depends on river level.
Great half day trip taking in a variety of rapids
including the well known Steps. Care should be taken on this rapid.

Moppy to Rawdon Vale
16km of excellent rafting from 1.2m to 2.0m. Best suited to kayaks. River levels for kayaking good from 0.6m to 2.5m. Only experienced paddlers need apply! and only when water levels are high.

Rawdon Vale to Cobark
A scenic 4km stretch of the Barrington River. High water only -ptimum levels 0.5m and over.

Cobark to Bindera
12km of great grade 2 & 3 rapids. Care needs to be taken through this section as there are no farm houses close by and there is a rocky gorge section. One kilometre upstream from Bindera is Westlys Bridge, a low level wooden bridge where you'll need to get out and portage your boats. Depending on your experience, this stretch can be paddled from 0.38m to 0.8m safely.
WARNING - Do not use GPS to find us as GPS Systems do not recognise us and will direct you along back roads, instead of via the main road from Gloucester.
