Mountain Biking - One Day Tour

Your MTB tour will give you exclusive entry to our spectacular unspoilt forests and gorges while minimising your impact on the environment. It's also a fantastic way to exercise. Choose between a full day ride out of Barrington Tops or a couple of shorter rides.

The Barrington Tops Ride

Thunderbolt's Trail leads you down through the natural beauty of the Barrington Tops. If the views don't leave you speechless the adrenalin will. You'll descend 1000 metres over 30 kilometres and witness awe-inspiring landscapes that change dramatically as you ride. Listen to the bellbirds ringing through the cool mountain air, glimpse brush turkeys scrounging on the forest floor and share the sense of confidence and camaraderie that this unique experience brings.

The Copeland Tops Ride

This is a short but magnificent ride through towering forest, open woodlands and finishes on the banks of the Barrington River. You'll want to do this ride again and again, as much for the gourmet lunch or dinner and swim as for the location.

The Kiwarrak State Forest Ride

If your enthusiasm for Mountain Biking goes beyond scenic trail rides with wondrous descents, join us for a full day's guided tour of Tinonee.

Consisting of over 40km single-track, the Tinonee trails of Kiwarrak State Forest are a mountain biker's playground and our new fleet of smooth, dual-suspension Kona mountain bikes make the most of it!

Beginners will be given a taste of what makes mountain biking so addictive while passionate riders will find plenty of opportunity to extend themselves; from well-groomed, flowing trails to rocky climbs and rolling descents, there's something at every switchback to surprise and challenge every rider.

As well as a yearning for adventure, we recommend that riders come prepared with a moderate level of fitness to enjoy a tour at Tinonee.

Don’t have all day but just want to get some biking in while you’re in Barrington? Our half day tour is for you. This is a short but magnificent ride on Broadbent’s Trail, through towering forest, open woodland and finishes on the banks of the Barrington River.
